2023 NIA - Camp Starkweather Registration
Week 1 Outdoor Explorers (June 26-30th)
Campers will explore the various nature trails at the NIA and embark on a nature scavenger hunt. Campers will also learn different aspects of nature such as survival skills, animal tracking, frog calls, building shelters, and building fishing poles.

Week 2 Young Scientists (July 3-7th) (July 4th off)
Campers will experiment with various scientific materials while creating slime, elephant toothpaste, rubber eggs, making volcanoes, and even carrying out their own scientific experiments.

Week 3 Big Splash (July 10-14)
Each day children will have fun with different water activities. Children will use squirt guns, sprinklers, and water balloons. As always, staff will supervise each activity to ensure safety and rules. Please ensure appropriate and safe attire along with a towel.
*Water Day is EVERYDAY!
Week 4 Pirates (July 17-21)
ARGGGG! Climb aboard and experience a fun-filled week of activities such as walking the plank, building pirate ships, and finding a treasure! Let your scallywags embark on a pirate adventure to long-lost Camp Starkweather gold!

Week 5 Sports Extravaganza (July 24-28)
With a whole host of activities to compete in, campers will participate in a mini-Olympics, with running races, beanbag throwing, and egg-and-spoon races.

Week 6 Top Secret (July 31-Aug 4th)
Campers will work together to solve the Top Secret Mission with hands-on activities that encourage creative problem-solving skills, teamwork, and innovation. Bring your spy gear and be ready to find some clues!
